Ken Akoundi - PhD
Influenced by the lack of expertise available to Long-term Investors, Ken founded Cordatius, an agency-based management consulting company focusing on the investment offices of the long-term investors, across policies, technology, processes, and operations. Since 2016, Cordatius has placed itself on the forefront of investment office digital transformation.
Ken was the President of ASPN Solutions (a spin-off of Protégé Partners), Head of Capital Markets business for EletrifAI (a spin-off of McKinsey), Head ofPension Strategies and Solutions group at Deutsche Bank, and Head of Risk Management at Optima Fund Management. In 1998, he co-founded RiskMetrics Group (acquired by MSCI) where he held the position of Chief Knowledge Officer. Ken began his career at J.P. Morgan after completing a Doctorate in Civil Engineering at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. |
Kartik Uchil, MBA
Kartik is the Principal and Project Manager at Cordatius LLC in Seattle, where he has been since June 2019. He specializes in analyzing legacy technology for institutional clients, developing customized RFPs, and managing vendor evaluation and technology adoption. Previously, he held roles such as Investment Analyst Intern at Eastmore Group, Data Analyst Intern at Context Summits, and Manager at C.R. Kothari & Sons Stock Broking Pvt. Ltd. Kartik holds an MBA in Investment Management and Information Systems from Pace University, and additional qualifications in finance from Welingkar Institute and International College Of Financial Planning.

Paul Costello
Paul Costello is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in developing and executing business strategies. He founded Flagship Partners in 2018, an independent research and consulting firm focusing on impact investing and nonprofit initiatives. Previously, as the COO of the University of Richmond's investment office, Spider Management, he played a pivotal role in asset growth and organizational development. Paul also founded Onyx Associates, providing management consulting and interim leadership to wealth management businesses. His extensive experience includes leadership roles at Wachovia Securities, where he oversaw merger-integration activities, contributing to its growth as one of the largest retail brokerage firms (now Wells Fargo Advisors). He also served as President of Mentor Investment Group's family of mutual funds and held various directorship positions. Paul has been a board member for organizations like the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, The Steward School, and the World Affairs Council of Greater Richmond. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of the State of New York, Regents College, and a Masters in Liberal Arts from the University of Richmond, in addition to completing The Executive Program at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business Administration.
